2nd OFW Valentine’s Day Card-Making Contest. Pag-IBIG Justine Building, Makati City. February 8, 2014

Established in 2003 and 2004 respectively, KAMPI and Kabalikat ng OFW, are non-stock, non-government organizations commited to promote the well being and interests of the Overseas Filipino Worker and their families through its welfare assistance programs and services. They staged their 2nd Valentine’s Day Card-Making Contest on February 8, 2014 at the Pag-IBIG Justine Building, with the theme: “Baon mo ang pag-ibig ko anumang oras, asahang ako’y kabalikat mo”, as a tribute to our OFWs who work hard in foreign countries in order to give their families a better life.

The contest was divided into two (2) categories: Children (ages 7-12) and Teens (ageds 13-17). Prizes, both in cash and in kind were given away to both the contestants and attendees. Jollibee also provided packed lunches and gave a special dance number to the kid’s delight. The board of judges included Harris Jacildo (President and COO of I-Remit), Lorenzo Chan (President of Pioneer Insurance), Ralph Cadiz (SVP of Sterling Bank of Asia), Nicole Choa (Representative of Surewell Equities), Sally Banal (Division Chief III for Marketing and Enforcement of Pag-IBIG Fund), and Albert Valenciano (Deputy Administrator of OWWA).
